Microsoft 365 테넌트 마이그레이션 개요

이번 포스팅에서는 "Microsoft 365 테넌트 마이그레이션 개요" 에 대해 알아보겠습니다.

 

 

 

 

오늘 충격적인(?) 소식을 접했습니다. 제가 10여년 재직중인 회사가 모회사에 흡수 합병 되고, 피합병회사인 저의 회사는 합병 이후 해산 된다고 하네요. 좋은 소식인지.. 나쁜 소식인지.. 결론은 시간이 말해주겠지요..

 

만약 위와 같은 시나리오로 처럼, Microsoft 365를 사용하는 두 회사가 합병 된다면 두 회사가 사용하던 Microsoft 365 데이터를 한곳의 테넌트로 마이그레이션 해야 합니다.

천천히 읽어 보시면.. 합병, 인수, 매각 등에 발생하는 비즈니스 시나리오와 아키텍처 시나리오를 파악하고, 어떤 서비스가 마이그레이션 가능한지 불가능한지.. 어떤 방식으로 마이그레이션 할지를 결정하는데 도움이 되실겁니다.

 

 

 

 

문서에 보면 아래 표와 같이, Microsoft 365 서비스별 마이그레이션 가능 여부 및 부연 설명을 확인할 수 있습니다.

테넌트 마이그레이션의 가장 좋은 방법은! Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) 를 이용하는 것 입니다.

여러가지 이유로 MCS를 이용할 수 없는 상황이라면, 다음으로 third-party tool을 이용하면 됩니다.

하지만 비용상의 이슈로 MCS, third-party tool도 이용을 할 수 없는 경우라면, EA 또는 별도의 계약을 맺고 있는 Microsoft 파트너를 이용할 수 있습니다.

Microsoft 파트너도 이용할 수 없는 상황이라면.. IT 담당자가 독학으로 직접 수행하셔야겠지요;;
